Michele
I was raised in Western Queensland and by a happy accident ended up studying Interior Design at Uni. Following graduation I worked in a bathroom showroom and have always found the hard finishing aspect of design the most interesting. I noticed that customer's who I had assisted with bathroom products almost always mentioned how much they wished I could advise/sell them tiles. I saw an opportunity at the age of 23 I opened the doors and Elite was born.
We have evolved and grown over the past 21 years and become an importer for some of the most exciting and innovative factories in Europe.
I love the challenges that business gives me, I am lucky to have a group of hardworking loyal staff, I love that we are always moving forward.
In my spare time I love to be a mum and everything that involves.
Mark
I have had a varied background from breeding & judging stud cattle, intensive agriculture and university doing Fine Arts including a stint in Paris.
Like all the team, we have multiple roles, but my main focus is on design/re-working plans, sketches to help clients visualize design concepts and problem solving complex installation issues.
Being involved with Elite (and Michele) since the business was first established; we have grown and lifted our vision along the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy many things, but regularly find time to chase snapper in Moreton bay
Reginald
Bonjour je m appelle Reginald ( Reggie ). French born, I migrated to Australia 8 years ago. I have been working for Elite Bathware for the last 4 years. Originally from a hospitality background, I bring my French arrogance to the Italian design that Elite import to Australia.
Madonna
With over twenty years experience behind the scenes in administration in carpet/flooring and bathware industry "carrying the spare bike" for the peloton. Madonna is the go-to girl who knows where the hard-to-find can be found whilst balancing the everyday run-of-the-office, sales and the trivial.
When not at work, Madonna is doing one of many things, lying on the "chaise-longue" eating bons-bons while watching classic old movies; reading mystery novels; a handicraft of some sort is always on the go, or just simply lounging by the pool drinking cocktails.
Kirstie
Kirstie is the Business Development Manager for Victoria. Born on the other side of the ditch near Christchurch, New Zealand; Kirstie and her family have been living in Melbourne since 2008. Along with a funny accent Kirstie brings a creative flair and a love for texture, colour and pattern. Born to two very creative parents, Kirstie has always been surrounded by art and craft and the art of sharing it with others. Her collaborative works with her mother created in fibre have won awards in New Zealand and international recognition.
When not out and about visiting architects and designers, Kirstie is always researching her latest favourite coffee haunt or place of tasty treats.
Alex
Being the youngest of the group, I joined the team at Elite Bathware in August 2010 and work as a store-man. I really enjoy my time at Elite, it's an amazing establishment. I learn something new everyday! I don't know where I'd be without Elite Bathware & Tiles!
Steve
I started working for Elite whilst studying for my Landscape Architecture degree in 1996 and have never left – I’m a sucker for punishment. I have no official role at Elite as I look after just about everything – sales, purchasing, pricing, logistics, administration etc + more. My greatest passion, other than my wife and kids, is golf - I’m out there every weekend trying to improve my game.
Julia
Julia is the Business Development Manager for the Gold Coast and Northern NSW regions. Having relocated to the coast and joining us in early 2010 from Far North QLD, she has 4 years experience in the tile and bathware industry, and holds an Interior Design Diploma. When not driving around the coast visiting Architects and Designers, you'll mostly find her riding the streets of the Coast with her husband and boys, who are all mad bike riders!
Russell
Russell is based in the Brisbane showroom, he is the Business Development Manager for Brisbane and the North Coast. Russell has many years of industry knowledge that he brings to Elite. Having worked within the Queensland Market int he Natural stone industry, both importing and marketing of material. as someone who loves working hard and offering an efficient service he gets a thrill being part of projects and watching them come to fruition.
When not working or spending time with his wife and family you will find him at the bottom of the pool... Playing his favourite sport, Underwater Hockey!
